The 'Get Out There' initiative being run by Basildon Council has joined forces with Essex Boot Camp to put residents through their paces and help get rid of those pounds put on over Christmas.
The Essex Boot Camp run sessions in parks around the county and provide unique outdoor training that employs a range of military, functional, sports specific and dynamic methods to ensure a fulfilling workout that also gains results.
The sessions, which are conducted by fully qualified staff, many of whom are ex-military, will be running in Gloucester Park from the 9th January.
Director and Head Instructor James Sweeney said "The Essex Boot Camp has been running in several parks around the County and has been really successful, we are really excited about coming to Basildon in January and will be putting residents through their paces." He added "all fitness levels and abilities are welcome, we can tailor our sessions to every need."
Your first session is totally free and spaces can be booked at www.essexbootcamp.co.uk or james@essexbootcamp.co.uk
Councillor Kevin Blake, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Arts, said, "This is yet another great initiative which has come out of the 'Get out there' project. These guys are some of the best fitness trainers around, so it's fantastic that they are coming to run sessions in Gloucester Park."
