Easter fun for kids


A FREE play scheme for kids will be running over the Easter period.

Funded by the Lottery and supported by Basildon Council, the 'Play Rangers' is a mobile play scheme which encourages children in the district to play and take part in activities.

The scheme enables children to engage and interact with each other, learn social skills and build an inclusive community whilst having fun with various activities.

The scheme which has now doubled in size will be running throughout the Easter Holidays the programme is free of charge for children between the age of 5-12 to attend. Locations are:


Eversley Park, Pitsea: Mondays, 11am - 3pm

Swan Mead Park, Vange: Mondays, 11am - 3pm

Northlands Park, Northlands: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11am - 3pm

Wat Tyler, Pitsea: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 11am - 2pm

Wickford Memorial, Wickford: Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am - 3pm

Lake Meadows, Billericay: Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am - 3pm

Markhams Chase, Laindon: Sundays, 2pm - 5pm
