Bike Week
Cycle Basildon is riding on Bike Week to help promote cycling in Basildon. The aim is to get more people cycling more often, the Basildon Bike week taking place the 18th -26th June has something for everyone ranging from beginners to seasoned cyclists.
The FREE cycling activities on offer include: Adult Bike Basics cycling lessons for beginners, mountain biking, family rides, and cycling polo just to name a few. The majority of led rides are starting from the new Basildon Sporting Village with other activities such as cycling polo taking place at different locations across the borough.
Not sure if your bike is safe; Get your bike checked for FREE by the Bike Doctor; minor repairs will be also carried out for no charge and recommendations for specialist work will be provided.
The Bike Week is being supported by Everyone Active, Sustrans, Eastgate, Essex Police, Trailnet, Our Basildon, Healthy Living Solutions, Essex Roads Cycling club, Ford cycling club and Basildon Council.
