All Stars at Basildon
I am pleased to announce that the Basildon Sporting Village is to be host to a Charity Celebrity Football game. The game is part of a project called 'The great football experiment'.
Local football team Ivory FC won the Nivea For Men competition which gives a pub football team professional preparation fit for the England team with coaching from Terry Venables, Ray Wilkins and Ray Clemence.
The team have been preparing for a while and are now due to take on a celebrity 11 including: Ralph Little, Will Mellor, Jeff Brazier, James Nesbit, Chris Fountain, Dennis Urwin and a few other Corrie and Hollyoaks stars.

All the proceeds will be going to 'Always A Chance', a new charity set up by one of the players in memory of his friends that were sadly gunned down and killed in Sarasota in Florida just 6 weeks ago. The charity is looking to turn people away from violent crime to help prevent such atrocities occurring in the future, and assist those families and victims affected by violent crime with advice and financial support.
